My Soba machines are so reliable that I rarely find cause to use anything else, actually the only reason I don’t use Soba machines exclusively is because I don’t currently own enough of them.
Just wanted to take a minute share my personal satisfaction, i have been using Soba’s machines for roughly the last 9 years of my tattoo career an still to this day have 4 machines that i use as daily drivers without fail! cant say enough positive words about them, ive had soba custom build machines to suit my needs and they work amazing…feel free to check out my work and see for yourself, whether its my Black and Grey work or large color stuff, it was all done using a SOBA machine!
SOBA machines are the most reliable tattoo machines I’ve used in my 18 years of tattoo. They come ready to work with no tuning required, and require very little maintenance to keep them humming along perfectly. Ive been using them exclusively for the last 7 years. In the past I’ve tried some custom machines from famous tattooers, only to find they were twice the price and half as good. For the way I tattoo, SOBAs are the best tattoo machines on the market today.

The first machines I used at my first serious tattooing job were SOBA’s. I had others, but I always felt a reliability with the machine, even before I could explain the mechanics of why. That shop had a whole lot of workhorse irons machines floating around and I never wasted opportunities to try out the SOBAs that the other artists would order in.These machines have been there to help me create a foundation, and year after year, help renew the standard of a high quality machine. I will always support builders like SOBA who know the value of respectfully challenging tradition.

I’ve been tattooing now just shy of 20 years and in that time have dealt with numerous machine builders, supply companies, and tattooers. I can say for sure, I hold very few in as high regard as I do SOBA! He has been a friend, peer, constant source of help, and provider of excellently crafted tattoo machines.
